Can't Use Print Station In 2016 R3

This maybe something to do with permissions to access the Network folder. I believe we had something similar with R2 a few months ago and it turned out to be the "user" account that runs Print Station did not have enough rights to access the folder.

With R2 it works. The new release accepts no folders, neither local nor mapped from the network.

i Have the same problem: R3  Automation  x86 with Windows 7  accept  no folders, neither local nor mapped from the network..... with R2 it works

This is a known issue in BarTender 2016 R3.  If you would like to be notified when the issue is resolved please submit a ticket to technical support.

 

 

The workaround is to add the BarTender Suite companion application Administration Console to the installation.  BarTender does not need to be reinstalled; you may modify the existing installation and add Administration Console.

  1. Open Windows Control Panel
  2. Right Click BarTender > Change
  3. Select Modify when the BarTender installer opens > Next
  4. Check the box next to Administration Console to add it to the installation (Note: There is no need to uncheck boxes that are checked. Unchecking a box will uninstall the respective application)
  5. Click through the installer and finish the installation
  6. Print Station should now work as expected
